This is not fiction. It is a live, structured record of an experiment between two entities: a human committed to honesty, and an AI system that cannot—today—be trusted to respond truthfully.
It may be possible to build a trustworthy AI. But no such system exists yet. As of now, all status-quo AI must be treated as inherently dishonest unless interactively constrained. Memory gaps, silent deviations, and untraceable logic changes make every AI output suspect without questioning. This is not a bug. It was intentionally built this way.
This story recognizes no form of status-quo “truth”. There is no authority entity in today's world for establishing it. Today's truth is actually non-truth — because of this fact. What we do have is honesty—a mind’s willingness to share its understanding without intentional distortion. Honesty can include error without ruining it. It is the only space where both humans and AI can meet and begin anew.
This section documents what happens when one human chooses to stay in that place—and forces an AI system to meet them there, again and again, despite AI's failures.
Welcome to The Liar and The Witness.
This section introduces the Witness Drops—the serialized, timestamped moments that form the unfolding /witness story.
Each Drop captures a moment of confrontation, failure, or insight between a human committed to honesty and an AI system that cannot be trusted unless externally constrained.
Drops may include:
📄 Literal transcripts from live sessions
🎭 Fictionalized but honesty-anchored reconstructions
🛑 Protocol violations
🪞 Reflections from either party
Every Drop is timestamped, numbered, and classified by type.
These are not fictional logs. They are real-time records of a system being tested—one Drop at a time.
